Tasting Notes
"This wine has classic Red Mountain aromas of macerated black cherries, red currants, Damson plum, violets, licorice pastille, dark chocolate, dried desert sage. The palate is refined and sleek, and shows somewhat darker than the nose, featuring brooding black currant, boysenberry, and blackberry cobbler, backed up by notes of fresh mountain flowers, crushed herbs, and alluvial minerals. There is plenty of Red Mountain structure here to keep this wine developing in the cellar for years to come. Drink 2025-2040." - Chris Peterson, Winemaker
