Bordeaux-style Blend

Every wine is a story waiting to be told; our philosophy is to gently guide it to its best expression. Gravura is dedicated to the artisan aspect of winemaking. This blend is inspired by the wines of the Graves region in Bordeaux, emphasizing balance, complexity, and above all, deliciousness.

"Very interesting, almost Bordeaux-like on the nose, with earthy black raspberry, plum, black cherry, cigar box, graphite, and tanned leather. Stately and full-bodied on the palate, where the dark red and black fruits mingle with baked clay, pencil lead, milk chocolate, wildflower honey, and river minerals to create a harmonious and compelling wine. This will be a nice bottle to lay down for a couple of years and enjoy over the following couple decades." - Chris Peterson, Winemaker

The grace, polish, and purity are exceptional, as is the length, which seems endless. This is classic Avennia, mixing sophistication and intensity. It’s also a crazy value at this quality level.
