"Opens with aromas of black cherry, red currants, pomegranate seeds, cacao nibs, licorice root, and complex notes of river minerals and pencil shavings. This wine is very elegant and focused on the palate, with delicious notes of dried cherries, blackberry, bittersweet chocolate, vanilla bean, graphite, dried marjoram and tarragon, along with notes of iron shavings. It washes across the palate with a wave of liquid violet flower and tart blackberry fruits as fine-grained tannins mount toward the close.
